Well you've read about them if you're a fan of Andy Warhol, and here's a RARE find. It's a silver paper dress from the 1960s. The paper dress captured the vibrant, youthful, optimism of 1960s America so precisely that the fashion press speculated about paper garments taking over the entire clothes market. The dresses were whimsical, often featuring eye-catching pop art-like patterns, shapes for the customer to color or cut to length. They were just one of many newly disposable items – like cutlery, plates, pens, lighters and razors – embraced by consumers. This one is silver and backed by white paper. The straps tie to adjust and you just pull it over your head, no need for zippers or buttons. It is an A shape. The label reads, "Design by Beau Monde. Stitchcraft , Passaic, NJ" It's in excellent vintage condition. There's discoloration on the collar and hem inside from being stored, but not noticeable when worn. The bust measures 39in, waist 44in. This is an authentic one of a kind vintage piece in wearable condition, that has been cleaned and repaired (if necessary). Flaws will be noted, but please ask any questions you may have as this is a FINAL SALE garment and cannot be returned. All items are measured flat the same way we measure our reproduction items. The maximum measurement is listed. Most vintage fabrics do no have stretch, so please take into consideration when looking at size.

2 for 1!
Two iterations of an Ernest Hemingway classic short story. Burt Lancaster kicks it off with the 1946 version followed by the Lee Marvin led 1964 version. Both are great and plenty of criterion extras making this among my favorite spine in their awesome collection. There’s also a Russian student take on the short story adding a third version of a great story. Highly recommended and if it’s 50% a must buy. I already owned it and gave this as a gift who instantly called me two days later with high praise of the films.

A Favorite All-Time Classic
I've always enjoyed this classic film. Ava Gardner is my favorite all-time actress. She's great in the role of Kitty. Burt Lancaster is also fine as the torn man in love with a woman he struggles to have. This is based on one of Hemingway's short stories, and they did a fine job. Same with the remake in 1964 with Lee Marvin and Clu Gulagher. You will not be disappointed in either version, but my favorite is the orignal.

1 Ernest Hemingway story, 2 different movie takes, very cool.
I like value. Two movie versions of a cool story for the price of one, I am in. The Burt Lancaster version is film noir cool, while the Lee Marvin has that manic 60’s television feel. The Lee Marvin version gets bonus for Ronald Reagan’s portrayal of the heavy. He is quite menacing.
