I actually have only been taking them for a week or two but if they were not 500mg and a good quality magnesium my body would tell me in just a few days. There is only one con I would have yo say that I wish they would specify what percentage of which type of magnesium this is. Most likely the oxide at this price but it just would be nice to know.
