I live with two cats in a small apartment space and unfortunately, one of my litter boxes is by my front door. Though I do have to frequently use it. I am able to use it around the cats' litter box without any issues of them avoiding it. While I do have to frequently use it, I guess that's a good thing because it's not eliminating the urine smell to discourage them from going into their litter box. The scent is not my favorite but I've also tried one of their other products for cats. There's the litter one and while I prefer the scent for that one, it just doesn't do the same job. This is it. This is the one. My cat has the smelliest poops, she's even woken me up with how smelly they are and I spray this once or twice and BAM everything is better for all of us.

It's great that veterinarians approve this product as one of the safer options for pets. It smells good and it does the job as good or better than others I've tried. The reason I won't continue to use it is that it is a heavy liquid and when you spray it into the air, falls to your floor very quickly. On tile, it leaves a shiny oily "wet" patch that can make the tile slippery which is dangerous and on carpet, since it is oily, I assume that dirt will quickly adhere to those areas forcing a carpet cleaning in a short amount of time. I happen to have cream carpet.
