The Mikayla Dress is a modern, body-hugging knit dress designed to be fully customized to your own measurements. Worked seamlessly from the top down, the construction combines elegant shaping with a flexible fit that adapts beautifully to different body types.

The design begins with delicate double-knit straps, which form the foundation of the upper bodice. From there, two shaped bust triangles are worked separately before being joined into a continuous front piece. This modular construction allows for precise shaping and a flattering fit across the bust.

The Mikayla Dress is ideal for knitters who enjoy thoughtful construction and want a garment that can be tailored precisely to their own shape. The result is a timeless piece that feels both handmade and modern - designed to move with you.

Yarn

Cotton Wool 3, Gepard Garn (233 m/50 g)

or

Esther, Permin (230 m/50 g)

Optional:
For a sparkly version, add 1 strand of
Make it Blümchen, Creative (375 m / 25 g)

Gauge

The Mikayla Dress is worked in stockinette stitch on 4 mm needles.

Gauge: 10 x 10 cm = 23 stitches x 32 rows.

Estimated Yarn Amount

The Mikayla Dress is knitted based on your own measurements, but an estimated yarn amount is:

Knitted with a thigh-length-skirt:

S (M) L (XL) XXL (XXXXL) = 150 g (150 g) 200 g (250 g) 300 (350 g)

For an angle-length-skirt:

S (M) L (XL) XXL (XXXXL) = 250 g (300 g) 350 g (400 g) 450 (500 g)

Needles and accessories

  • 1 circular needle 4 mm, 40 cm

  • 1 circular needle 3,5 mm, 40 cm

  • 2 double-pointed needles 4 mm

  • 1 stitch marker

  • A blunt needle for weaving in ends

Construction of the Dress

The Mikayla Dress is worked from the top down. First, the straps are knitted, from which the two bust triangles are worked. These two bust triangles are then knitted in continuation of each other and together form the front piece.

Once the front piece is wide enough to reach around the stomach, the dress is joined and worked in the round. From here, increases are made to match the hip measurements, and the skirt is knitted to the desired length.

Finally, the straps are attached to the back piece of the dress, and the folded edge is sewn to the wrong side of the skirt.

That ending 😫
Format: Kindle
I fell into a false sense of security and really thought this was gearing towards a happy ending. Then I realized there’s no work they don’t punish Andrew. I really liked Vale’s character. I don’t normally read books with pregnancy but going into this knowing she was pregnant made it more enjoyable for me. I loved Bishops devotion to her and her happiness. I also loved that Holt and Mercy couldn’t fight their attraction to her. I love scent matches so very much. I’m so curious to see how this duet will end up. And I need to pay more attention and notice that a book I’m starting is a duet to begin with lol

oh wow
Format: Kindle
I just knew there was something about Cooper! I’m wondering if he’s about to be included but damn I’m glad he’s at least not a rapist and creepy guy, he just got called on assignment and had to go! This should be interesting! She’s gonna run and then what’s his face is gonna grab her. I’m worried! Wow that was a great book and cliffhanger! Loving this!

Wow.
Format: Kindle
Okay I’m usually not one for stand-alone’s I’m an avid series reader but my goodness am I so happy I read this! This story was brilliant & so absolutely mesmerizing. I loved reading about each character and their struggles as well as what helped them to move forward. The ending definitely brought tears to my eyes so hard. I truly wasn’t expecting some of what happened in this story. There is about to be a spoiler I am going to reveal so please stop reading if you don’t want the spoiler !!!! ⚠️ ⛔️ ‼️ I loved that the author didn’t do what most authors do with irredeemable male characters. I truly was hoping that Nate Jr. would be apart of the pack after the way he treated Astrea bc he truly didn’t deserve it. Though I must say you did a wonderful job or redeeming him as a person. I cried my eyes out when he walked into the story. I was truly terrified he was going to be a bad guy to the end. However you truly did him such a justice by having him realize his faults & having him redeem himself in the most wonderful way. I’m so sad that he didn’t get to hear how much his brother loved him & forgave him before dying. But again you wrote that ending so beautifully & I just can’t express how much I loved this story & how you took a different route than most authors I have read have. You are a remarkable author Cinder Blaze & I thank you generously for creating such a masterpiece.

Omegaverse
Format: Kindle
I was pleasantly surprised by this omega verse book. This 1 definitely had a few new twists And I really enjoyed reading it. The main female character was a badass and awesome. She had 1 best friend I wish we could have seen a little bit more of their friendship in this book. Her relationship with the male characters was good not to contrived or super instantaneous. And we had some fun plot twists that I didn't expect. I wish we had more of a follow up on the situation with her family her background and her mother who was a wench. I would definitely recommend this book.

Wow. Just wow. An amazing read
Format: Kindle
This book was eloquently written, or should I say the authors writing style is very eloquent? I loved the characters, and the story was quite compelling. I absolutely loved the FMC, she's a BA who doesn't take any crap & gives as good as she gets. A certain person certainly got his just desserts & then some, the earlier scenes of which were quite satisfying, had me punching the air & everything haha. All in all 20/10, great read
